this is totally crazy. and now universities will be shut down, we're going to get a new round of demonstrations, ugh! don't these luminaries understand we're living in the 21st century?

Και αυτό, αλλά κυρίως λείπει εντελώς (μα εντελώς!) αυτό που οι Αμερικάνοι λένε "think big".
Για παράδειγμα, μόλις διάβασα αυτό (και εντυπωσιάστηκα). Κάτι τέτοιο δε θα μπορούσε να κάνει κανένας Έλληνας. Δεν είναι απλώς θέμα παιδείας και τεχνικής κατάρτισης, βασικά είναι η μιζέρια της νοοτροπίας μας.

ναι, συμφωνώ μαζί σου εντελώς: όλα όσα βλέπουμε είναι συμπτώματα της μίζερης νοοτροπίας του μέσου έλληνα. instead of trying to push the limits, we aim for the mediocre. the standard of excellence here is mediocrity and if we don't pull ourselves out of this death wish, we've got noone to blame but ourselves
