we're stuck between a rock and a hard place

iran's president mahmoud ahmadinejad has sparked an international outcry over remarks in which he has described the holocaust as a "myth" and has called for israel to be "wiped off the map."

of course he has. he' using anti-israel rhetoric. and while the international outcry has been strong, there has been no outcry from the arab world. that's because they agree with him.

and that's the beauty of ahmadinejad's plan. he's making his nuclear plans legitimate in the arab world because they're being positioned as 'anti-israel', a sentiment they all share. so his immediate neighbors don't worry and are letting him get on with what he's doing.

and where's bush now that we really need him?

well, short-term, iran's biggest weapon against the west is it's oil - and iran, the world's 4th largest producer has threatened to withhold oil causing major disruptions in the western economies.

now what's going on makes sense: ahmandinejad's got the west by the balls and is squeezing them while blowing sunshine up the arab's ass...and in the process iran is going nuclear. not a pleasant thought at all
