iran has become the closest middle east ally to hugo chavez in venezuela and hugo chavez has vehemently defended the terrorist regime of the mullahs and their right to acquire nuclear centrifuges.
for all that separates the leftist would-be marxist despot in the making and the islamist terror government, they seem to be finding that they have a lot in common...

PS: Regarding Iran, I'd worry about any quick remedy being put forth by a government whose head official can't even pronounce the word "nuclear" correctly :-p
i'm not offended, we're expressing our points of view and i don't expect everyone to agree with me :)
pat robertson would resolve only half the problem since he claimed that the u.s. should take hugo chavez out. that would still leave us with the worse of the two, ahmadenijad...
and no, i'm not suggesting they should be murdered; i believe they should not be in positions of power.
however, in the case of ahmadenijad, i believe that he and all the fanatical mullahs that support and essentially rule iran should be punished for their crimes against the iranian people once deposed. and i hope that day comes soon.
at least the government of the u.s. is concerned and wants and can do something about ahmadenijad, regardless of whether or not the prez can pronounce the word "nuclear". putin, chirac, merkel, hu who are probably much more literate are also completely incapable
