donkeys do it better

"A textbook used at schools in the Indian state of Rajasthan compares housewives to donkeys, and suggests the animals make better companions as they complain less and are more loyal to their masters", from yahoo news
is it any wonder that in the state of rajasthan the ratio of females to males is 886:1000? this ratio is highly attributed to high abortion rates for girls as familes use ultrasound test to check the sex of the fetus.
i just wonder - not whether they would riot - but how violent the riots would have been if this comparison was made with regards to men...
